Celebrating our German and Australian members

After a fantastic inaugural Gala Dinner in 2023, we are excited to keep this as a standing item in our Event Calendar. This year, we look forward to a memorable evening on Friday, 14 June 2024. The 3-course Gala Dinner will be held at a prestigious Doltone House (Jones Bay Wharf).

Switch your business attire for a black-tie dress code and present and showcase your business at this exquisite event. You will be amongst fellow AHK Australien members, partners of the German-Australian business network, and government representatives while being right in the midst of Sydney's iconic landmarks. We look forward to celebrating and nurturing German-Australian Business with everyone this June!

The Event

Our AHK Australien Gala Dinner will start with refreshments and drinks in the reception area before we move to the formalities, a 3-course meal and of course some dancing in a unique heritage venue.

We anticipate an impactful keynote that will set the tone for the evening and share some celebratory words from us to you, our members.

There will be plenty of photo opportunities in front of our media wall before and during the event to ensure you can capture your team in front of your logo!

Do you want to position your brand on our media wall? Book your spot now and submit your logo by no later than 30 May 2024!

Our Speakers

We are pleased to announce that we have Beate Grzeski, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Australia, not only as a guest but also as a speaker at our evening. Ms Grzeski commenced her role in Australia in 2023 after her tenure as Ambassador, Special Envoy for the Pacific Island States.

Additionally, we will hear from our President, Bronwyn Fox. Bronwyn has become a Chief Scientist at CSIRO in 2021, the fourth female Chief Scientist within the organisation. She is known globally as a leader in advanced manufacturing, materials science, and industry 4.0 technologies, and is passionate about bringing together multidisciplinary teams for collaborative research. She was formerly Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Enterprise) at Swinburne University of Technology and founding Director of Swinburne’s Manufacturing Futures Research Institute. During that time, she established of a world first Industry 4.0 Testlab for additive manufacturing of carbon fibre composites, in collaboration with CSIRO.
