Volkswagen Group Australia Pty Ltd
Volkswagen Group Australia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the parent company, Volkswagen AG, and is made up of three brands – Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and ŠKODA. Each of the brands is an independent entity in the Australian market. A dedicated team of over 200 people handle all aspects of the Group’s operations – supporting sales growth, the expanding network of dealerships and service facilities.
The purpose-built head office, warehouse and training facility in Chullora, NSW, was opened in 2012 and houses the three Volkswagen Group Australia brands as well as Volkswagen Financial Services. A custom designed training facility with seven state-of-the-art training modules caters for the training needs of the expanding dealership network. For comparison, the total size of the training facility is equivalent to 2.6 Olympic-sized swimming pools. The parts warehouse takes up a vast 16,000m2 and was purpose-built to suit the broad range of parts and Volkswagen Group Australia’s workflow processes.
