TNG Technology Consulting's Big Techday 23 took place on July 7th, 2023, at Motorworld in Munich, Germany. The annual conference on science and IT featured 41 talks by 55 speakers covering a wide range of topics – from artificial intelligence and robotics to research, innovation, and quantum computing. Live Stream to Melbourne
This year marked a milestone: We streamed the early talks live from Germany to our Melbourne office for the first time, creating a truly international event. Together with local guests, the Melbourne team watched "From Zero to ChatGPT Hero: Effective Prompt Engineering" by our TNG Innovation Hacking team and based on popular vote "Intelligent Autonomous Robots for the Flexible Packaging of Industrial Products" and "How to Build the Most Efficient Concept Car in the World".
Steady Growth Over the Years
TNG Technology Consulting has been hosting the Big Techday annually since 2007, with the exception of 2009. Over the last 16 years, the event has experienced significant growth in the number of talks, speakers, and attendees. The 2023 edition, with seven parallel tracks and over 40 talks, was approximately four times larger than the inaugural event in 2007.
Showcasing Cutting-Edge IT Technologies
A major cornerstone of every Big Techday is its diverse selection of exhibits, primarily provided by our TNG Innovation Hacking team – an initiative within TNG that develops showcases in hardware and software, demonstrating the value of cutting-edge IT technologies. This year, the focus was on two trending topics: artificial intelligence and virtual reality. Guests had the opportunity to explore the latest developments in AI, including real-time deepfakes, the automated slide deck generator ai-slides.com, and a text summariser. In addition, the event featured multiple showcases and games that provided an immersive virtual reality experience. Equipped with VR headsets and motion controllers, attendees could fully immerse themselves in a variety of fun games, including the infamous Crysis and the ever-popular Blobby Volleyball.

The Big Techday not only offers an exciting program of talks by world-renowned speakers and fun exhibits but also serves as a platform for experts from various fields and backgrounds to come together. Our curated guest list includes client representatives, current and former employees, and other tech enthusiasts.
