Hydrogen market ramp-up in Australia & Germany 19.04. - 21.04.2021 | Online

Virtual Delegation

Do you want to learn about the role of the ramp-up of the Hydrogen Industry until 2030 and beyond? What is the potential of Power – to – X and how can new business models look like along the Hydrogen Supply Chain? What role can green hydrogen best play in the energy system and what are promising pilot projects? These are some of the many common questions Australia and Europe face on the road towards a cleaner and more flexible power supply system.

With the goal to better understand and navigate the dynamic development in the hydrogen industry sector, adelphi and the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce invite you to participate in a bilateral thought leader exchange, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The virtual delegation trip is part of a broader scale effort to strengthen the energy cooperation between our countries, encourage the exchange of ideas, build energy transition policy expertise and ramp-up large-scale production and deployment.

This knowledge exchange offers the opportunity for multi-stakeholders to learn about the German discussions and to identify, track, and accelerate market opportunities as well as the potential for collaboration aiming to scale-up new and existing projects. Presentations will be held on regulatory, technical, and economic issues facing the hydrogen market in Germany. Furthermore, the delegation will meet virtually with relevant ministries and other important stakeholders.

Meetings and a peer-to-peer exchange between hydrogen energy executives from Australia and Germany will be key components of the program. You will meet representatives of major technology providers and learn about various industry use-cases. Participants will also be asked to identify actions for continuing cooperation through workshops at the beginning and end of the virtual trip.

This free-of-charge program entails a combination of presentations and virtual discussions for a small group size of 25 selected participants. The virtual delegation trip is targeting top management from Australian organisations along the Hydrogen Supply Chain, grid regulators, researchers, and policymakers.
