The German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in collaboration with Verband für Schiffbau und Meerstechnik e.V. (VSM), the leading German association which represents the political and commercial interests of the German maritime industry, will host a virtual industry conference  on 24 November 2020 surrounding a German business delegation in shipbuilding, maritime as well as offshore technology industry. The virtual delegation will take place from 23 until 27 November 2020. The overarching goal of the delegation is to support German SMEs in finding business partners and collaborations in the Australian market.

During the industry conference on 24 November 2020, Australian professionals from the shipbuilding, maritime as well as offshore technology industry will give in-depth information about the trends and developments within the industry. Also, the delegates from the German companies will present their products and services in front of an Australian professional audience. The conference will further be an excellent networking platform for all participants and will allow a timeframe for one-on-one Meetings.

Subsequent to the conference, the German company representatives will meet with potential Australian business partners (one-on-one Business Partner matchings), suppliers, distributors, etc. The Business-partner matchings will be organised by the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and take place in a virtual surrounding.

Virtual Industry Conference - 24 November 2020

The German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce will host together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA a virtual industry conference on the 24 November 2020 surrounding a virtual business delegation.

During this 3-hour conference Australian maritime experts and professionals will give in-depth information about the trends and developments within the industry. 

Among the Industry speakers from Germany and from Australia is:

  • Zarko Knezevic, Project Manager VSM, who will be speaking about Maritime Developments in Germany   

The eight delegation participants which showcase their innovations and technologies with case studies. Participants of the conference will also have the possibility to network with delegates and speakers.
