This in-person event will take place on Thursday, 9 July, with registration commencing at 5:30 pm for a 6:00 pm start. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals, strengthen existing relationships, and celebrate the beginning of a promising year ahead. 

The evening will also feature a timely discussion panel, Beyond the FTA: New Trade, Investment and Market Opportunities between Australia and Germany. Following the landmark Australia–European Union Free Trade Agreement, exciting new opportunities are emerging for deeper German-Australian collaboration across trade, investment, energy transition, advanced manufacturing and innovation. 

With Queensland increasingly positioning itself as a strategic hub for renewable energy, critical minerals, green industry, infrastructure and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the panel will explore how businesses and institutions can leverage evolving German and European partnerships in a rapidly changing geopolitical and economic landscape. Bringing together perspectives from trade, investment and international market intelligence, the discussion will highlight practical opportunities, emerging trends and the future of German-Australian economic cooperation in the post-FTA environment.
