The German Catholic Communities Sydney brings together the German-speaking Catholic communities, supported by the Katholische Auslandsstelle (KAS) of the German Bishops' Conference. They offer German-speaking believers a familiar place for community and faith in their mother tongue, while staying open to all Australians.
The communities include St. Christophorus in Croydon, one of Sydney's oldest churches (built 1871), holding services in German and English, and St. Raphael in Blacktown, part of an aged-care facility offering pastoral care to German- and English-speaking residents.
