This introductory presentation provides a European perspective on the key regulatory and certification requirements for green hydrogen and Power-to-X (PtX) products with special emphasis on Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) and green iron & steel as relevant export opportunities for Australian producers. Gain an understanding on which EU requirements apply to your PtX projects, how Australian power supply and project structures align (or need adjustment), and what certification steps are needed for bankable EU offtake contracts.
