About our ESG Circle

Our ESG Circle offers our members an exclusive platform to engage with the multi-layered world of ESG considerations. In today's changing corporate landscape, ESG factors play a central role in shaping corporate strategies, investor decisions and societal impact. From climate change and community engagement to ethical corporate governance and stakeholder accountability, the ESG framework encompasses a wide range of issues that are increasingly important to corporate sustainability and responsibility. Join us to explore the complexities of ESG integration, share insights and foster collaboration among like-minded professionals. Our Circle provides a supportive environment where members can share ideas, address challenges and cultivate best practices to drive sustainable business initiatives. Adhering to the confidentiality principles of the Chatham House Rules, members can engage in open discussions and collective learning to drive positive change in their organisations and beyond.

Topic: Practical Pathways for First Nations engagement in the Supply Chain

The event is presented by The Fair Co., and together with the AHK, this April's ESG Circle explores practical pathways to strengthen ESG performance through meaningful First Nations engagement across the supply chain.

This session will unpack how social procurement aligns to the social dimension of ESG performance and builds genuine social licence well beyond compliance requirements. Participants will gain a clear view of the current procurement Policy landscape including the key policies that apply in NSW and the Commonwealth Indigenous Procurement Policy. We’ll also take a deeper look at Indigenous procurement in practice covering supply chain integration, opportunities for Aboriginal participation, and how to verify suppliers with confidence. The discussion will also address the growing risks of black cladding and provide practical approaches to managing integrity across your supply chain.
