This event will bring together senior leaders from industry, government, and the research community to examine how the shift to low-carbon energy and materials is transforming global supply chains.

Focusing on iron ore and steel, the discussion will explore how geopolitical dynamics, market developments, and policy frameworks are influencing the adoption of sustainable technologies, including green iron - particularly in light of the recently signed EU–Australia Free Trade Agreement.  With perspectives from both Australia and Germany, the program will highlight opportunities for international collaboration, innovation, and sustainable economic growth, as well as pathways to resilient low-carbon value chains. We will also address Australia’s strategic role in global energy and resources markets as the world’s largest iron ore producer, including its role in enabling future technologies such as green iron.

Join the European–Australian business community, featuring experts from Progressive Green Solutions, thyssenkrupp nucera Australia, The Superpower Institute, and other leaders across the mining, energy, and advanced manufacturing sectors, for an engaging event hosted by the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Progressive Green Solutions.
