MUC | Briefing for Brisbane 2032 & Germany-Queensland Partnership Reception

We cordially invite you to join us on 8 June 2026 in Munich for two complimentary events. The events will showcase business opportunities connected to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games and celebrate German-Queensland collaboration. You are welcome to attend either event individually or both.

The 'Going for Gold' briefing session (4 PM - 6 PM) will provide insights into upcoming infrastructure projects and procurement opportunities in Queensland in the lead-up to Brisbane 2032. With around EUR 71 billion in planned investment over the next four years, significant opportunities are emerging for German companies across sectors. Experts from Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) and the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK) will offer practical advice on accessing the market and identifying business opportunities.

Following this, the Germany–Queensland Partnership Reception will take place at the same venue from 6 PM. Hosted in celebration of Queensland Day, this event will bring together industry, academic and government representatives to strengthen economic and research ties. Guests are welcome to attend the reception, regardless of whether they participate in the briefing session.
