+61 (0)2 8296 0446 sylvia.nemeth@germany.org.auOur first Connect@AHK event of the year brings together executives and decision-makers to discuss one of the most influential topics of our future: the development of smart cities and infrastructure.
The event will feature a dynamic panel discussion with experts from the fields of smart cities, infrastructure, and digital industry, who will offer different perspectives on how intelligent technologies, sustainable infrastructure, and collaborative governance can enable resilient, inclusive, and future-proof cities.
Panelists will examine current challenges, emerging trends, and real-world case studies, providing practical insights into policy, innovation, and implementation. The event will serve as a platform for exchange and offer valuable networking opportunities across industries. A German business delegation comprising 12 companies from the smart city and infrastructure sectors will visit Brisbane and participate in the event, giving it an international dimension.
Target audience: Professionals from the fields of government, urban planning, engineering, technology, property development and academia with an interest in smart cities and sustainable infrastructure.
We are delighted to welcome Professor Michael Rosemann, Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in South Queensland, and Sophie Arkinstall, founder of AI & Society, as our special guest speakers for the evening.
Join us for an exciting and forward-looking discussion where ideas, expertise and partnerships come together to help shape the cities of tomorrow.
