The German–Australian Executive Dialogue on Green Iron is a joint initiative together with the Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology in Germany (DECHEMA) and the German-Australian Business Council (GABC).
Held as an official partner event of the Asia-Pacific Hydrogen Summit, this invite-only Executive Dialogue will bring together senior Australian and German industry leaders for an Executive Roundtable held on 4 September 2026.
Building on the outcomes of the German–Australian Workshop on Green Iron and Steel (Düsseldorf, June 2026), participants will discuss the commercial conditions, partnership models and practical actions needed to advance German-Australian Green Iron collaboration.
Insights will contribute to a joint Australia–Germany Discussion Paper, synthesising the outcomes of the Düsseldorf Workshop, the Executive Dialogue and relevant existing research. The Paper is intended to support future engagement with governments, public agencies, industry associations and other stakeholders in both countries.
