SYD | German Hydrogen Business Delegation to Australia 2025

The objective of the energy business delegation is to support German companies in the production, storage and export of green hydrogen in establishing business relationships in Australia.

The programme of the business delegation also offers participants the opportunity to take part in the Asia-Pacific Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition from 20 to 21 November 2025 and to exhibit at the German pavilion at the same time. (Separate registration and cost involved)

The programme will also focus on individual cooperation talks with potential partners and the presentation of innovative “Energy Solutions Made in Germany” technologies at a business breakfast and executive business roundtables. The programme is complemented by site visits to relevant projects and facilities in the Australian energy industry.

The business delegation is aimed at German SMEs that are developing innovative solutions in the field of hydrogen production and storage.

You can expect the following from this Business Delegation:

• Target market overview with profiles of market players: Participants will receive a specially prepared report on the framework conditions and specific business opportunities in Australia, as well as a description and contact details of the companies, institutions, organisations, authorities and their decision-makers that are important for the industry.
• Opportunity to participate in the Asia-Pacific Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition* (20-21 November 2025) and the opportunity to exhibit at the German pavilion: one of the most important trade fairs in the Asia-Pacific region with around 2,500 industry professionals from the region. • Business Breakfast: In a combination of pitching and networking, participating companies will have the opportunity to present their solutions to a selected audience of experts at a business breakfast.
• Site Visits: Project visits to relevant reference projects and initiatives in Australia
• Business meetings: Individual business meetings with potential partners in Australia, accompanied by AHK staff.

Regardless of participation in the energy business delegation, German companies can present themselves as exhibitors within the German Pavilion at the Asia-Pacific Hydrogen Exhibition as part of the foreign trade fair promotion programme; if you register by 17 July 2025, a ticket for the Asia-Pacific Hydrogen Exhibition Summit is also included in the participation fee.
