15-19 March 2027. We invite you to a business delegation trip for German companies in the rail industry to Australia.

Australia is investing heavily in the expansion and modernisation of its rail infrastructure. Large-scale infrastructure projects, the digitalisation of rail transport and the rising demand for modern control and safety technology are creating attractive market opportunities for German suppliers of rail technology, components and intelligent transport systems.

The delegation offers participants the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the Australian market, identify business potential and establish targeted contacts with relevant industry players.

During the trip, companies will gain up-to-date market insights, take part in networking and presentation events, and hold individually organised business meetings with potential customers and partners. The programme is complemented by visits to companies, government bodies and showcase projects, which offer practical insights into developments in the Australian rail market.

The delegation is aimed in particular at small and medium-sized enterprises in the fields of railway technology, rolling stock, infrastructure, signalling and safety technology, as well as digital mobility and automation solutions.

As part of the Market Development Programme for SMEs, this initiative is carried out on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE). It is organised by the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, with the support of Commit Project Partners GmbH and the German Railway Industry Association (VDB).
