Australia is building up its own PV industry and, with the help of government support programmes, is creating new production capacity for PV modules and components. Setting up modern production lines requires extensive international expertise. This opens up attractive market opportunities and potential for technology partnerships, particularly for German suppliers of automation, manufacturing, measurement and testing technology.

The project exploration trip is part of the "Consortium Formation in Australia" initiative and builds on the preceding webinar. It is aimed particularly at small and medium-sized enterprises considering entering the Australian energy market or expanding their existing activities in the sector.
