As part of this business trip, German companies will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the Australian market for sustainable mobility solutions and energy infrastructure. The programme includes market briefings, a presentation event for a local specialist audience, and individually arranged B2B meetings with potential business partners.
As part of national infrastructure and urban development projects, Australia is driving forward the electrification of the transport sector. Pilot projects on connected vehicles and smart city initiatives are currently underway in all states. Particularly with a view to the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane, model regions for climate-friendly urban development and digitally connected infrastructure are emerging. As high-tech components in the areas of grid control and charging equipment are frequently imported, opportunities for technology partnerships and market entry are opening up for German suppliers.
