Critical Minerals for a Sustainable Future

The global race towards a net-zero carbon emissions future requires a wide range of new technologies in the areas of renewable energy, electrification and energy efficiency. All of these technologies build on a reliable supply of Critical Minerals.

Both Germany with its world-leading manufacturing sector as well as Australia with one of the world’s best developed mining& resources sectors can profit from this development –bilateral collaboration is crucial though to reap all the benefits.

The German-Australian Critical Minerals Alliance, launched by the German-Australian Chamber of Industry & Commerce in April 2022, provides a platform for exchange and information for Australian and German stakeholders in the Critical Minerals industry and actively shapes the industry through meaningful activities.
