Business Delegation to Germany: Hydrogen from 12 to 16 May 2025
Building on the success of the Hydrogen Delegation to Germany in May 2024, we have prepared a delegation to visit different hydrogen-related sites in Germany ahead of the World Hydrogen 2025 Summit & Exhibition in May 2025.
The delegation will explore the important relationship between German and Australian hydrogen industry and will allow you experience first-hand the world benchmarks in industrial technology and standards Germany has to offer.
Our objective is to create business to business opportunities for our members and in particular those from our Energy & Hydrogen Cluster with substantial opportunities to network with key German-Australian Industry par-ticipants throughout the delegation.
The program starts in Berlin where we will introduce you to government representatives to gain a better under-standing of Germany’s Hydrogen Policies and Agenda by visiting the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action in Berlin and meeting with stakeholders over lunch at the famous Reichstag’s Kaeferschaenke restaurant. We continue in the afternoon with a visit of Stoff2 GmbH, a manufacturer of electrolyzers to produce hydrogen. The day concludes by a Welcome Reception at the Australian Embassy.
Our program continues on Wednesday with site visits and discussions with key German industry stakeholders such as Quest One GmbH, H2 Global, Mabanaft GmbH & Co KG and HHLA in Hamburg - a joint mission with AusTrade. The following two days we will visit Siemens Energys e-methanol plant in Kassø, Denmark, as well as ArcelorMittal steel works in Bremen, and Tes-H2 , Uniper Energy, Storag Etzel in Wilhelmshaven.
The program begins on Monday, 12 May with a welcome dinner in Berlin and ends on Friday, 16 May in northern Germany to allow travel to Rotterdam for the summit. For delegates travelling to the World Hydrogen Summit, an additional program option will be available for Monday, 19 May in Rotterdam (details of program tba.).
We will reserve all nights in 4-star hotels based on your given travel advise, all transfers in Germany during the delegation and meals throughout the program.
Participants will be a mix of key stakeholders interested in the future of Australian hydrogen industry.
