Human Resources is no longer a job that simply "has to be done" or can be treated as an afterthought. In current times, we have seen the battle for talent, onshore and offshore, as well as staff retention, discussed more than ever. The average person changes their career three to seven times during their lifetime which puts additional pressure on the role of an HR professional - keeping staff engaged, and motivated and providing them with room for growth and development. Additionally, we deal with changes to laws, whether that's employment law, data privacy or else, and of course the implementation of artificial intelligence in the profession. Many companies don't have a diverse and large team in HR, so we are offering our member organisations and their respective HR professionals to meet and openly learn and share together. All our Circles are following the Chatham House Rules.
As organisations race to adopt AI, many overlook the foundational role HR must play in enabling sustainable, enterprise-wide transformation. Joanne Fisher (Fisher People in Culture) and Julian Gerg (Unity Consulting & Innovation) will explore the essential “soil conditions” HR needs to cultivate—from data readiness and workforce capabilities to ethical governance and change leadership. Using vivid analogies from farming and planting, we’ll uncover practical strategies and best practices drawn from industry leaders.
Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how to align HR structures, skills, and culture to support AI integration across all functions. This circle is for HR experts and business leaders to gain actionable insights to become true enablers of intelligent growth.
Following the insightful discussion, there will be time to network with industry peers and expand your professional network.
