Building a resilient German-Australian Critical Minerals Supply Chain
Germany, as one of the most advanced manufacturing nations worldwide has a great need for Critical Minerals, especially for EV’s and technologies for the energy transition. Australia is blessed with a rich endowment of almost all critical minerals. A collaboration between both countries is of highest importance for a zero carbon future.
The German Afternoon event at IMARC, organised by the German-Australian Critical Minerals Alliance (founded by AHK Australien), the German Mineral Resources Agency (DERA) and German Mining & Resources Network, is aiming to explore the opportunities and challenges around building a resilient German-Australian Critical Minerals supply chain.
We are pleased to hear from Bernhard Kluttig, Director-General for Industrial Policy at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), about Germany’s view on Raw Material policy.
Further speakers and panellists provide in-depth insights into their important work along the supply chain – from mining and refining to financing and digital tools with the common goal to enable Germany’s future in the manufacturing sector with the help of Australian Critical Minerals.
