If you have been in Australia long enough, you are likely familiar with ‘Christmas in July‘ and perhaps even celebrated it yourself. While Australia celebrates actual Christmas in the hot summer months, a celebration in July breaks up the year and brings in the European winter spirit.

This year, we are delighted to combine the festivities with business and invite you to take part in an exciting event for the German-Australian business network while sipping on delicious mulled wine. We have fantastic contacts in our member base who are ready to share their expertise on current industry topics and global developments.

Thanks to our longstanding member, Wilkhahn, we have put together an event that goes beyond networking and offers some real insights into how the current business landscape is impacted by global events.

Since Donald Trump has taken office as the 47th president of the United States, international trade has entered a new era, and tariffs have become the centre of many business conversations. Geopolitical tensions are reshaping the way companies do business globally, and the reliance on specific partners has changed perspectives on diversification of supply chains.

However, with disruption comes opportunity. Collaboration is at the core of what we do, hence we are excited to have put together an experienced panel to provide us with further insights into how we can strengthen bilateral ties and ensure growth across sectors and disciplines to navigate uncertainty with confidence:

  • Adrian Nicolini from Wilkhahn
  • Oliver Jankowsky from Hall & Wilcox
  • Christian Harders from Henning Harders

This panel will offer different perspectives from different sectors on the current business and geopolitical landscape and provide some great talking points to discuss with peers during networking conversations at the event.

We are sure this event will be a sell-out, so don’t wait too long to get your ticket!
