Experience the radiant melodies and childlike wonder of Mahler’s Symphony No.4, featuring German soprano, Sarah Traubel, in her Australian debut. After the delicate orchestration and subtle undercurrents of 4, witness the turbulence and majesty of Symphony No. 5, a voyage from darkness to light highlighted by the luminous serenity of the famous Adagietto.

This concert is testament to the ensemble expertise of Australia’s only national orchestra, comprised of some of the most accomplished Australian musicians drawn from acclaimed local and international orchestras for rare performances.

This marathon Mahlerfest is a breathtaking journey from innocence to experience, as these vital works move from memoir to poem, culminating in a love letter to Alma, the woman who would soon become Gustav Mahler’s wife.

Australia’s finest musicians are back for one spectacular night only in a 2025 calendar highlight not to be missed.
