SOLD OUT | The Business Summit will discuss bilateral key economic topics relevant for every foresightful business.

Our AHK Australien cornerstone event, the German-Australian Growth Summit Part 2, will be a crucial business forum in your calendar year to discuss bilateral key economic topics relevant for every bilateral business context. It’s time to harness the spirit of growth and opportunities that lie in the air, and translate it into tangible collaborations.

We look forward to meeting all the Growth Summit event participants who will come together in Sydney to learn, discuss, and network with key business and political leaders from Australia and Germany. We are happy to say that these include representatives of the highly innovative Mittelstand companies as well as Australian innovation leaders.

This Summit will be THE industry expert platform event of the year, focusing on four key economic topics:

HEALTHY HUMANS

BEAUTIFUL INTELLIGENCE

PRECIOUS EARTH

POWERFUL PLANET

Australia and the rest of the world are confronted with new realities in need to adjust to an ongoing pandemic. What was expected only to last a few months, we now experience lasting changes to our lives and a changed approach to public health. Constant mutations and variants of the COVID-19 virus threaten our population. Still, those challenges also have highlighted the resilience and efficacy of vaccine research and the fast adaptation of global supply chains.

We will then look beyond the pandemic and discover how the current challenges also accelerated research and the discovery of treatments for other life-threatening diseases.

Building on the Growth Summit Part 1’s insights into automation and digitisation of manufacturing industries, this panel session will drill deeper into the importance of collaboration between competitors, creating open innovation that can lift whole sector performance.

Together with our panel speakers, we will investigate collaboration opportunities between industry, academia and research organisations. Further, we will consider the impacts of automation on workforce and skills needs. Lastly, we will look through the lens of sustainability and how food and beverage process automation can help manufacturers reach their sustainability targets.

Rapidly emerging technologies for a greener world spark the demand for sustainably produced New Economy minerals.

This panel will explore the resource-related opportunities and challenges faced by Australian and German mining and manufacturing industries on the pathway to a cleaner future.

How do you package all that solar and wind energy that Australia has an abundance of, and ship it to other countries? Hydrogen seems to be the solution, but what is hydrogen and what can it do?

Learn from our leading renewable energy experts about what hydrogen is and how it can become Australia’s next export hit – not just on earth, but also in space!

Our intervention pop-up Space panel will give you a topical excursion into space, where we will ask our panellists how technologies developed for the hydrogen supply chain may be useful in the Australian space sector, and vice versa.
