About the Event:
The New Year’s Reception is traditionally the first and one of the most important events for AHK Japan. Around 200 guests including long-standing as well as a number of new members joined the first networking event of 2020.
This Year's Reception:
AHK Japan’s President Mr. Donald Bunkenburg and AHK Japan CEO Mr. Marcus Schürmann held a short welcoming speech in which they reviewed the chamber’s activities in 2019 and highlighted the key activities for 2020. Following this, this year’s premium partners IPG Automotive GmbH, DKSH Japan (LAMY) and Lufthansa, the head of the economic department of the German Embassy, Ms. Susanne Welter, and Mr. Schürmann greeted the New Year With the “Kagami Biraki” ceremony. The New Year’s Reception was rounded off with lively exchanges and networking between our guests. We hope this event fueled your motivation for 2020 and wish you a successful new year.
