Monash is investing in the next generation of entrepreneurial thinkers through the Generator - an initiative which offers a suite of programs designed to build and grow startups and social enterprises affiliated to the University.

Now in its third year, the Generator's flagship Accelerator Program broke records with 189 applications from teams hopeful to gain a place on this three-month intensive to grow and scale their startup.

Nine teams were selected based on their readiness to grow and to solve real world problems. They each received $10,000 in seed funding, mentoring, co-working space and professional services to help navigate the complexities of raising a startup.

Hear from the nine teams as they share their startup story in a 3-minute pitch at our annual Monash Startup Showcase at 6pm, Wednesday 19th September hosted at Stone & Chalk in the city.

From plug and play space rocket engines, to health solutions for women going through menopause, right through to a startup building a chain of boutique meditation studios, the only driver for the Accelerator Program is to ensure teams will have real impact.

The 19th marks the end of their formal Generator Accelerator journey, and the start of their next stage of growth.
