Faber-Castell Announces Appointment of New Managing Director of Australia

Former Nestle Business Development head Michael Karakatsanis joins Faber-Castell

With the retirement of Count Andreas von Faber-Castell in October 2017, Faber-Castell Australia has concluded its search for a new Managing Director and is delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Karakatsanis to the role.

Previously Head of Business Development for Nestlé Australia, Michael’s appointment was effective from the 1st of May. His experience at the world’s largest Food and Beverage business over the last 15 years has seen him work across Sales and Category Management, Regional Marketing to more recent roles where he ran an online Nestlé owned Start Up food business and then onto his last role in Business Development across the Nestlé Australia portfolio.

The appointment cements Faber-Castell’s commitment to the market, its customers and the many people who enjoy Faber-Castell products.
