International Cleaning Giant Kärcher Opens Purpose Built Kärcher Center at its New Oceania Headquarters
Kärcher Oceania's new head office in Mount Waverley, Victoria is designed to provide a one-stop-shop for customers, dealers and consumers, offering sales, service, advice and practical learning for the entire Kärcher range.
When it comes to cleaning solutions there is no one quite like Kärcher. With the largest range in the industry, the family owned enterprise has come a long way since Alfred Kärcher's first inventions and is now 13,000 employees strong with an unrivalled portfolio of over 3,000 machines - providing solutions from industrial sweepers and floor scrubber's to domestic window cleaning and vacuums. And of course, pressure washers; after all, that's where the Kärcher story first began.
The Official Opening was presided over by Mr. Hartmut Jenner, Kärcher's Global Chief Executive Officer & Chairman of the Kärcher Management Board.
The purpose built space accommodates office, conference and service facilities, as well as Kärcher's all-important Training Academy and retail space.
Hartmut Jenner, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Management said at the opening ceremony: “As an innovation-driven company, Kärcher has an ever-evolving portfolio so it’s important to provide a place to allow people to use the latest machines and learn how to master difficult cleaning tasks; the Academy and Kärcher Center here is an excellent place to show the people our cleaning expertise and help them finding the right cleaning solution. It is very important for us to have a place like this in the important Australian market.”
Commenting on the opening, Region President and Australian Managing Director Hamish Matheson said, “The opening of our new HQ is fantastic. It is a great opportunity to thank everyone for the part they played in the move to Mount Waverley. The investment in these facilities sets us up for continued growth across the Region. I am very proud of our new Kärcher Head Office – and all the people who work there. We look forward to welcoming Kärcher Center visitors and helping them to find smarter, faster, greener and more efficient ways to clean.”
