Update to the Chamber's Australia-EU Free Trade Agreement Submission

05/10/2018

The German-Australian Chamber has been invited by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to provide an update to its 2016 submission in regards to the Australia-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA). After consultations with its member companies, within the Policy Advisory Committee, and in coordination with the global AHK network and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), we are delighted to provide DFAT with an updated and more detailed submission.

We continue to strongly advocate for a comprehensive Australia-EU Free Trade Agreement that addresses the various tariff and non-tariff trade barriers still existing between Australia and the EU and therefore affecting companies from the German-Australian business community. Please find the details in the attached submission that you can also find on the DFAT Australia-EU FTA page.
