AHK Event Report: New Member Breakfast Queensland, 3 July 2018

18/07/2018

To round of the series of new Member introductions, a New Member Breakfast was held in Brisbane on 3 July with 15 new Members in attendance.

Sabina Langenhan, Director of the Chamber’s Queensland Chapter thanked everyone for making such an early start and then introduced Tina Thoms, the Chamber’s Membership Director. After a round of Member introductions, where each new Member talked about their businesses and reason for joining the Chamber, Tina gave an overview of all the membership benefits and services of the Chamber. They range from posting news in our online newsletter to making use the DEinternational Consulting services.

The industries represented by our Queensland membership is an interesting mix from tax, legal and marketing entry services, to language courses, beverage import and event organisation. Since the Queensland Chapter opened in 2015 membership has grown sharply, and we look forward to continuing on this path with the support of our Queensland Chapter Committee.

We thank Committee members Sabina Langenhan and Ron Pennekamp, as well as Lisa Sapparth from DB Schenker for organising this dynamic and interesting New Member Breakfast.
