The German-Australian Chamber invites you to a business workshop with member and event partner the Australian Institute of Company Directors on Subsidiary Companies - Directors' Roles and Responsibilities. The event will be hosted by Doncaster BMW.

Our joint program focuses on German companies with boards in Australia that have dual reporting responsibilities. The course has been designed specially to help subsidiary boards ensure compliance with Australian governance regulation and corporate listing rules, while meeting obligations to German parent companies. Directors and executives of subsidiary companies will gain key insights into roles and responsibilities, as well as the challenges, complexities and personal liabilities that are involved in managing and directing a subsidiary company in Australia. Participants will also gain practical guidance in working with different legal frameworks and strategies for negotiating complex reporting and communication lines. As well as the formal part of the program, there will be a networking segment at the conclusion of the day. View the course flyer and event speaker's profile: Dr Wolfgang Babeck.

Director Professional Development (DPD) supports members of the AICD in developing and maintaining their director skills and capabilities through planning and tracking their professional development activities. Members (MAICD), graduates (GAICD) and fellows (FAICD) are required to accrue and maintain 60 DPD units over a rolling three-year cycle, with this program offering 10 valuable DPD points for each attendee. Do not miss out on this custom-designed course for chamber members.
