Are you on the Australian board of a German, Austrian or Swiss company? Learn how to navigate dual reporting responsibility and to ensure compliance in the Australian governance landscape and the Australian corporate listing rules.

The Australian Institute of Company Directors is delighted to partner with the German Australian Chamber of Commerce, SwissCham, and Advantage Austria to offer the following program:

‘Subsidiary Boards Navigating the relationship with your parent board’

Facilitated by Dr Wolfgang Babeck FAICD, this program focuses on German, Austrian and Swiss companies with boards in Australia that have dual reporting responsibilities.

The course is designed to help subsidiary boards ensure compliance with Australian governance regulation and corporate listing rules, while also meeting obligations to the German parent company.

The course provides directors and executives of subsidiary companies with an understanding of their roles and responsibilities, as well as the challenges, complexities and personal liability involved in directing a subsidiary company in Australia.

Participants will also gain practical guidance in working across different legal frameworks and strategies for negotiating complex reporting and communication lines.

As well as the formal learning part of the program, there will be a networking event for participants at the conclusion of the day.

Cost - $1,600* (+GST) per person.

*As part of the partnership the AHK are entitled to a commission on gross course revenue.
