Report of the Australia Germany Advisory Group - now available for our members

04.04.16 Homepage, AGAG

The Australia-Germany Advisory Group (AGAG) was established in November 2014 by the heads of government of the two countries. It was asked to submit recommendations for a comprehensive renewal of bilateral relations.

The recommendations of the Australia-Germany Advisory Group have been published in a report entitled “COLLABORATION, INNOVATION & OPPORTUNITY”. This also examines the potential for strengthening German-Australian relations.

This important document was presented by Prime Minister Turnbull and Chancellor Dr Merkel in Berlin in November 2015 based on the work of the Australia Germany Advisory Group chaired by Dr Maria Böhmer and Senator the Hon Mathias Cormann. Australia and Germany are natural partners and there is a compelling logic for an enhanced relationship.

The German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce is working with our partners on the implementation of the business, trade and investment related recommendations, including areas such as commercialisation of research and training.

Because we see the recommendations by the Australia Germany Advisory Group as a key document, the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce is delighted to offer our member companies one free hardcopy of the recommendation brochure.

Please use this link to provide your details and if you are eligible to receive a copy, you will receive it within 14 business days. This is just another small benefit of being a member of the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
