Simon-Kucher Elects 13 New Partners

The total number of Partners rises to over 100 — experts from Simon-Kucher offices around the world join the leadership team.

The global strategy and marketing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners has elected 13 new partners, who will begin their new roles on January 1, 2018. This is the first time that the company has surpassed the 100-partner mark.

Against this backdrop, we support our clients on how to stay on the correct path and make the right decisions", says CEO Dr. Georg Tacke. "We have being doing this successfully for the last 30 years and have grown continuously during that time – the election of new Partners each year is a reflection of our success." Simon-Kucher now has over 1100 employees in 34 offices worldwide.

Profile summaries of the newly elected partners are below:

  • Max Biesenbach (35), CFA, Bonn, advises leading private banks, asset managers, and providers of B2B infrastructure on product offering, pricing, and sales topics;
  • David Chung (40), New York/Toronto, specialises in product and pricing strategy in business banking and B2B financial services/fintech;
  • Juriaan Deumer (36), Amsterdam, leads the Professional Services practice in the Netherlands and is an expert on high tech industry, industrial manufacturing and services, and chemicals;
  • Francesco Fiorese (38), Milan, has 14 years of consulting experience, specialising in pricing and commercial excellence for B2B and B2B2C companies;
  • Frank Gehrig (34), Frankfurt, is an expert on the insurance sector with a particular focus on sales excellence, digitalisation, product and price strategies and behaviuoral economics;
  • Dr. Tobias Maria Guenter (43), Bonn, is an expert on retail, restaurants, and consumer goods, and specialises in pricing, marketing, promotions and category management;
  • Jan Haemer (33), Frankfurt, is co-author of the Global Pricing & Sales Study and specializes in chemicals, basic materials, and building materials. His focus topics include product portfolio management, marketing and pricing strategies;
  • Dr. Thomas Hofmann (32), Geneva, leads the Geneva office and advises clients from Switzerland, France, Belgium, and Luxembourg on wealth management and private banking topics;
  • Dr. Sven De Labey (34), Brussels, leads the Brussels office and has nine years of consulting experience. His projects focus primarily on construction materials, B2B distribution and technology;
  • Raf Onclin (35), Luxembourg, is an expert on healthcare and advises companies on commercial excellence topics;
  • Betty Pio (37), San Francisco, specialises in portfolio strategies and commercial development in the life sciences sector;
  • Stephan Schurz (37), Bonn, advises companies from the pharmaceuticals and biotechnology industries on pricing and market access operational excellence topics; and
  • David Smith (32), London, leads the Education practice in the United Kingdom and also specialises in software and B2B data services.
