Kick-off event in 2014: German-Australian Business Culture Seminar

08.04.2014 Trainings

The first event in 2014 with Volker Latus, Director of Involve International was a great success.

What must I consider when I work with Germans and Australians? What are the specifics of both business cultures? What are the major dos and don’ts?

These topics were vividly discussed in the German-Australian Business Culture Seminar. The group of about 30 participants explored key cultural dimensions and exchanged their experiences in a very practical approach. They developed a good understanding of the do’s and don’ts for typical business applications.

Many thanks to Volker for creating such an interactive learning atmosphere (which did not involve any PowerPoint slides). We also like to thank BDO for providing such a great venue.

For those who want to further explore the impact of intercultural aspects with focus on negotiation we invite you to sign up for our small group training “International Negotiations Skills’ on 6th - 7th May 2014.

This 2 day training provides both the concepts that help individuals to prepare international negotiation strategies and tactics as well as the skills to navigate their way through challenging situations during negotiations.

We look forward to welcoming you at one of the upcoming trainings and events. Visit our training website or contact Christiane on 02 8296 0433 or Christiane.wolf(at) for further information.

“BDO are proud to be associated with the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce. We were pleased to host the recent German-Australian Business Culture Seminar at our premises as it provided our guests with a magnificent platform to interactively explore the key cultural dimensions between Germans and Australians.”
