The German-Australian Chamber's Watch Us Work event at the Australian Synchrotron and Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication (MCN) took place on Tuesday, 12 September 2017. The event was a fantastic opportunity for all guests to gain exclusive insights into advanced radiation and beam technology.

The event left all guests enthused and fascinated. After introductory presentations by Dr Simone Richter (Group Executive Nuclear Science & Technology, and Landmark Infrastructure) and Prof Nico Voelker (Director MCN), attendees headed on an exclusive tour through the scientific facilities.

After learning about the extraordinary technologies and machines at work, the group was amazed to hear how many different industries and companies make use of the facilities, and how science conducted in the Synchrotron and MCN is already part of our daily lives. After the tours, all guests mingled while enjoying some canap├ęs and beverages.

The German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce would like to thank all guests for coming and especially the Australian Synchrotron and Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication for welcoming everyone on the day.
