The German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce takes great pleasure in announcing the Asia-Pacific Regional Conference, which will take place in Perth from 3-5 November, 2017.
The event will focus on the bilateral business relations between Australia and Germany in the Indo-Pacific/Asia-Pacific context and coincides with the Chamber's 40th Anniversary. The conference will provide a platform for Australian companies to understand how they can benefit from the bilateral relationship through tangible business opportunities. It will also show Australia’s strength in selected industries, such as health technology and mining and resources, and how these can be utilised to expand into Germany or trade with German business.
Finally, the event will provide German business with insights into the Australian market, shedding light on the policy and economic incentives that are available. Conference speakers will include The Hon. Malcolm Turnbull (Prime Minister of Australia), The Hon. Mathias Cormann (Australian Finance Minister), Dr Andrew Mackenzie (Chamber President and CEO of BHP Billiton) and Dr Eric Schweitzer (President, Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry).
The German-Australian Chamber is looking forward to welcoming attendees to this high-level event. Further details about the conference will be published as they become available, so stay tuned. You can express your interest in the conference below.
